WORKER ZERO / DEVELOPMENT ARTICLES

From Customer Artwork to Approved Print Job

October 11, 2026

How structured automation could support a small print business.

A printing workflow often begins with incoming artwork and an order reference. The system should validate both before preparing production files.

Worker Zero could create a customer proof, log the version sent and wait for an explicit approval of that exact version. Revisions should create a new version rather than silently replacing the approved file.

Only an approved order should progress to print preparation, with the cutline, size, quantity and handoff checks recorded.

This is a proposed supervised workflow, not a claim that every printing device or marketplace is currently integrated.

Development concept. Features described are planned and subject to change.
